Instituto Cervantes is one of the most important accreditation bodies for Spanish language schools. Schools must meet quality standards related to teaching, academic organisation, facilities and student services.
Linguaschools Barcelona, Linguaschools Madrid and Linguaschools Granada are directly registered under their Linguaschools school names as Instituto Cervantes accredited centres. Other Linguaschools destinations in Spain operate through local academic partner entities that hold the relevant Instituto Cervantes accreditation and share Linguaschools’ academic standards.
This distinction allows students to understand both the official accreditation structure and the relationship between each school and the wider Linguaschools Spanish language school network.
Selected Linguaschools schools are recognised as official exam centres for Madrid Chamber of Commerce Spanish exams. These exams are designed for students who need Spanish for professional or workplace contexts, such as business, tourism or medicine.
Madrid Chamber of Commerce exam-centre recognition may vary by destination. Students who want to prepare for or take one of these exams should contact Linguaschools before booking to confirm current availability, exam dates and conditions.
FEDELE, the Federación Española de Escuelas de Español para Extranjeros, is an association of Spanish language schools in Spain. Its members work to promote quality in Spanish language teaching for international students.
The Linguaschools schools in Barcelona, Granada, Valencia, Salamanca and San Sebastián are connected to FEDELE membership. Barcelona and Granada are listed under their Linguaschools school names. Valencia, Salamanca and San Sebastián operate through local academic partner schools that are FEDELE members and form part of the Linguaschools network.
CSN is the Swedish Board of Student Finance. Some students from Sweden may be able to apply for CSN funding for eligible Spanish courses abroad, depending on the course, destination and their personal situation.
Linguaschools can provide course information and documentation where applicable, but students should always check current CSN rules and eligibility requirements directly with CSN before booking.
Erasmus+ is the European Union program for education, training, youth and sport. Selected Linguaschools schools are recognised or connected to Erasmus+ opportunities where applicable.
Erasmus+ recognition can be relevant for students, teachers, institutions or mobility programs, depending on the destination and course type. Please contact us if you need Erasmus-related documentation or confirmation for a specific program.
